Shirley Chamberlain Powell

Shirley Chambelain Powell, age 88, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. She was a resident of Kenner, LA for most of her life and for the last fourteen months a resident of Thibodaux. She was born on April 21, 1935, to the late John Chamberlain and Marcell Templet. Beloved wife for 61 years of the late Shelby Powell. Shirley is the niece of the late Kate Rivette, James Templet, George Templet, Essie Foret, Leroy Templet, Maria Adolph, Jeanne Marie Richard, Albert Templet, Sr. She is survived by numerous cousins.

Shirley worked at Whitney Bank for 41 years. She enjoyed Saints football, going to the casino, and family functions.
